IO-Dynamics optimizes fast charging infrastructure for EWE Go: Successful charging management at 18 locations in Germany
IO-Dynamics has successfully optimized the fast charging infrastructure of EWE Go, one of the largest operators of fast charging stations in Germany. An innovative software solution efficiently manages around 90 charging points at 18 locations in Germany. The result: a reliable charging infrastructure and significant cost savings.
Operators of fast charging infrastructure face the challenge of implementing load management for locations with limited grid capacity and high electricity prices. EWE Go chose IO-Dynamics' charging and energy management software as the key to a reliable and efficient charging infrastructure. "With our cloud-based platform, we can continuously monitor the grid connection and control the charging infrastructure without additional hardware," explains Johann Olsen, CEO and founder of IO-Dynamics. "Our specialized algorithms ensure that each charging point is used optimally for the customer without overloading the grid connection."
The pilot phase, which was conducted at all 18 locations, impressively confirmed the efficiency and cost savings. The charging infrastructure was optimally utilized and operating costs were significantly reduced.
