Set up a cost-saving and future-proof charging infrastructure

IO-Dynamics is successfully supporting flaschenpost in one of the largest electrification projects in Germany: the switch to an all-electric vehicle fleet and 100% emission-free delivery with the delivery fleet.
The challenge
The online supermarket die flaschenpost is continuously electrifying its entire fleet at all locations. The aim is to avoid expensive network expansion and unnecessary investment costs. The logistics process should also function smoothly with electric vehicles.
The project process
So far, charging infrastructure has been set up at 20 depots with around 480 charging stations in less than eight months with our partner Schulz Systemtechnik. This includes the complete integration of e-transporters and charging stations into the daily logistics process, transparency across all charging stations and vehicles as well as energy and charging management.
The result
By implementing the charging solution from IO-Dynamics, investment costs were reduced by 60% and operating costs by 20%. Within a year, 50% of deliveries were also able to be carried out emission-free. The charging solution ensures high vehicle availability and a reliable range guarantee. It also prevents grid overloads and load peaks through demand-led charging and dynamic load management.
